CONDUIT DEBT Definition
CONDUIT DEBT is issued by a state agency or public corporation on behalf of borrowers which include businesses, health care institutions, private higher education institutions, local governments, and qualified individuals (loans for higher education and housing purposes). THREE PERCENT (3%) RULE is a rule used in vesting pension plan benefits. The participants accrued benefit must be at least equal to 3% of the participants normal projected retirement benefit for each year of participation, with a maximum of 100% after 33 1/3 years of participation.
PUBLIC ACCOUNTING means the performance of or offering to perform any engagement that will result in the issuance of an attest report that is in accordance with professional standards.
